Helicopter maintenance

Specialised helicopter expertise

Specialised helicopter expertise

Our dedicated helicopter maintenance division provides comprehensive support for a wide range of helicopter types. With state-of-the-art facilities and certified technicians, we ensure your helicopter fleet operates at peak performance while maintaining the highest safety standards.

Working in close coordination with our CAMO services and Quality Assurance programmes, Aviaco Technics delivers outstanding quality and technical expertise across every maintenance operation.

Maintenance on a helicopter is not optional, it is a regulatory requirement. What is optional is where each replaced part comes from. Wherever the certification path allows it, we fit repaired or recertified parts rather than new ones. For operators who choose this option, the carbon footprint of a new part is avoided and the cost of the replacement is lower.

Tailored programmes

Preventive maintenance

Preventive maintenance programmes

Customised scheduled maintenance plans aligned with manufacturer recommendations and operational requirements. We monitor component life limits, time between overhaul (TBO), and airworthiness directives (AD) compliance to avoid unplanned downtime.

Our maintenance capabilities cover the full spectrum of helicopter scheduled and unscheduled maintenance:

  • • Daily and pre-flight inspections
  • • 50-hour, 100-hour, 150-hour, 300-hour, and 600-hour inspections
  • • Annual and calendar-based inspections
  • • Phase inspections
  • • 12-year major inspections
  • • Airworthiness directives (AD) and service bulletin (SB) embodiment
  • • Component life tracking and TBO forecasting
  • • Airworthiness Review Certificate (ARC) renewal
  • • Modifications and STC installations
  • • Troubleshooting and defect rectification
  • • Predictive maintenance recommendations
AOG emergency

AOG & emergency support

AOG support available upon request with rapid response coordination. Our maintenance team can be mobilised to provide troubleshooting and repair solutions, helping to minimise operational disruption and return your helicopter to service as efficiently as possible.

  • • Mobile maintenance intervention (subject to availability)
  • • Priority parts sourcing
  • • On-site troubleshooting and repair when required

A programme with an environmental dimension

Maintenance is mandatory on every helicopter, at every scheduled inspection set by regulation. What operators can choose is the type of parts that go back in. Wherever the certification path allows it, we use repaired or recertified parts from the Aviaco circular network, instead of new ones from the OEM. For operators who choose this option, every kilogramme of recertified part saves an average of 11.2 kgCO2e and lowers the cost of the replacement.
